Marquise Doherty is a 3 year Missouri Wolverine Alumni playing 5th, 6th and then returning for his 8th Grade year. One of the most gift athletes to ever play for the Missouri Wolverines. He still holds several of the 5th & 6th Grade individual records. Unfortunately, he was unable to run the ball his 8th Grade year due to weight limits in the league where we played.
After the Missouri Wolverines, Marquise attended Rockhurst High School as a freshman where he played varsity running back. However, after this freshman year Marquise transferred to Winnetonka High School. He instantly made a splash and as a Junior has already been offered a scholarship to the University of Nebraska among several other schools.
As a Junior, he was 2nd Team All-State Defensive Back, 1st Team All-District Defensive Back, 2nd Team All-District Running Back, 2nd Team All-Metro Defensive Back, 1st All-Conference at both Defensive Back and Running Back. Marquise was also honored with the Offensive MVP Award at the Winnetonka Football banquet and he still has one more year left.
